Los MTV EMA 2020 no han sido como nada anteriormente excepto por una cosa: ¡tus artistas favoritos ganaron a lo GRANDE gracias a ti!
Nuestros adorados BTS se llevaron a casa cuatro premios que incluyeron "Mejor canción", "major grupo"; "major actuación virtual" y "Mejores fans". Karol G ganó en "Mejor artista latino" y "Mejor colaboración" por Tusa junto a Nicki Minaj. Lady Gaga fue coronada con el premio a "Artista del año" y DJ Khaled aceptó el EMAs por "Mejor video" debido a "Popstar" en colaboración con Drake y con Justin Bieber de protagonista.
Además, el premio "MTV EMA Generation Change Award" de este año fue otorgado a cinco mujeres fenomenales que han decidado su tiempo y energía a problemas relacionados con la injusticia social y racial alrededor del mundo. Kiki Mordi, una periodista que trabajó para eliminar SARS en Nigeria; Temi Mwale, una activista por la justicia racial en UK; Catherhea Potjanaporn, una fotógrafa de retratos que combate el colorismoMalaysia; Luiza Brasil, una periodista de moda en Brazil; y Raquel Willis, una escritora transgénero de color y activista en US
