Desmond, el niño drag que está cambiando al mundo de la moda

La pasarela de Gypsy Sport hizo historia en esta Semana de la Moda en Nueva York al tener entre sus modelos a Desmond Napoles, un niño drag de 10 años que se robó el la atención de todos los asistentes.

Desmond -conocido en línea como Desmond Is Amazing- es originario de Brooklyn y se define como "un niño drag, dragutante, dargatero y draganista" que hace lo que él denomina como 'kinderdrag', y lo hace MUY BIEN.

Desmond es todo un fashionista: sus looks 'Avant Drag' se inspiran en Ru Paul, la moda de los Club Kids y Biltz Kids, Andy Warhol y Keith Haring, entre otros iconos de la moda y la contracultura. Además, él diseña y confecciona todos sus atuendos. Pero antes que nada, Desmond es un activista.

Con frases como "salí del clóset cuando nací", Desmond está abriendo puertas y sentando precedentes para los niños LGBTQ+ del mundo con su lema: 'Sé tú mismo, siempre'.

Uno de sus ídolos, RuPaul, leyenda del drag, le dijo a Desmond que él era "el futuro de Estados Unidos" y el futuro se ve FABULOSO.
